Apple's documentation explains that notifications may be delayed or not delivered. Planning should account for disconnected devices, user settings and other communication channels defined by the authority.
Who should be allowed to publish a notice?
Define access roles and an editorial procedure with named owners. A proposal can include preparation, review, publication and correction. Also test how an absent owner is replaced and how outdated information is withdrawn.
What happens when a resident opens the notification?
The link should open the corresponding content with its date, source and current status. If the notice has changed or ended, that should be clear. Test opening older notifications and opening them after an app update.
How should the workflow be checked before launch?
